4th Hole 549 yards
A long hole which sweeps to the left, with a bunker and trees
to foil the attempted short cut. A good solid drive is needed
in order to have a chance of reaching the green in two. The
prevailing wind should help, but with two further bunkers
short of the green, accuracy is needed throughout for this
par 5.
7th Hole 536 yards
The service road or open ditch will
catch a short drive. The left side of
the green is edged with a wall of sleepers.
Whilst an attractive feature, the change
in levels makes for a difficult approach.
18th Hole 580 yards
A splendid finishing hole. Playing into the prevailing
wind, even the longest hitter may not reach the
green in two. Length, mounds, bunkers and
undulating features, make this a marvellous
golfing challenge and a suitable climax to a
memorable round at Trefloyne.
